You know the old adage ‘If life hands you lemons, make lemonade.’? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better example of that than The Eyeborg Project. Film-maker Rob Spense, lost his eye in a childhood accident but with the help of a prosthetic eye which is also a camera he will be able to take his art to a whole new level.
What a strange and wonderful development – as long as it is not eventually put to sinister use by those who are already watching us a little too closely. Kind of puts a whole new spin on Big Brother is Watching You, doesn’t it?
