I finally got round to putting up a little video about our Rafting Bike day out just before the weekend. (No cracks about ‘fat-bottomed girls’, if you please).

I made the vid with Windows Movie Maker which has an annoying habit of freezing the computer every 10 minutes so the little clip nearly never got finished at all. Despite a growing urge to turf the whole lot into the briny, I finally got the it done and am quite happy with the results. What do you think?

  1. Looked like a fun day out, presumably you shot the video from a car..?particularly liked the shots of the cyclists going through the village, the food and the opening of the bottle of the fizz at the end ..!. A few more shots of the cyclists coming towards you might of been nice – but i am just being picky its a good video, well done.

    Hi Nikki,

Most of the shots were taken by my hubby who was also Rafting Bike that day. He even tried to sling the camaera over his back at one point to get the front shots but those clips (though hysterical) were very bumpy and didn’t do justice to do the day. It was a great laugh and we’ll be doing it again soon. Want to come?

  3. Thanks but I only have a fold up bike, a brompton, its got such tiny wheels – people would be fed up of having to wait for me..! :)

  4. I used to cycle a lot when I was at school – well it was either that or a dinosaur. Looks good though, rafting appeals to me, something very Robinson Crusoe about it.

  5. [...] I imaged three wheeler bikes on big inflatable ball wheels bobbing about in the water, but then I saw Tenerife Tattle’s follow-up video and all was [...]
